Passion Doesn't Fall From the Sky
Wednesday Jun 23, 2021
Wednesday Jun 23, 2021
I know it sounds harsh... but it's true. And it's been my #1 lesson during this month of June, which I dubbed the month of "RESET".
I was at my wit's end and decided it was necessary to pull back a bit and take a look at where I was, where I was going, and what the next steps looked like.
In this episode, I talk about the clarity and passion that was there all along and was brought back to life in the daily DOING.
I also share my three RESET activities (which you can do too!):
1. Life Audit
2. Time (and task enjoyment) Audit
3. Emotional Wellbeing Audit
And where the podcast is going next! Jason will be joining me for Episode #100 next week! And next month, July 2021, is all about brand Y-O-U!

Helper or People-Pleaser? 5 Tips to Put People-Pleasing to Bed!
Wednesday Jun 16, 2021
Wednesday Jun 16, 2021
The other night, I was falling asleep trying to put my finger on the difference between HELPING and people-pleasing.
I think I nailed it. For me, anyway. People-pleasing DRAINS me of energy and helping BOOSTS my energy and gives me life!
In this episode, I get into my confessions as a people-pleaser in recovery:
- Where it might have come from
- My experience with people-pleasing when I started my business
- How boundaries can help!
- My five tips to stop people-pleasing:
- Know your limits
- It’s OK to delay!
- Give yourself time limits, "I have two hours..."
- Watch out for those taking advantage
- Don’t apologize for setting boundaries
I’m about to hit episode 100 soon and I have such an action-packed docket of guests coming!
I’m also trying to convince my husband Jason to join me as a guest and share what we’ve learned since being in business together and then separately for 7 years. But we’ll see. I don’t want him to people-please us just cause we all want to hear from him, ya know. Email me HERE if you want him to be on the show.

What's Your Legacy? An Interactive Episode!
Wednesday Jun 09, 2021
Wednesday Jun 09, 2021
This episode is a never-before-tried-by-me activity based on the question I heard in Oprah's Super Soul podcast (The Give), "What is the energy you choose to bring to the world?"
“Life can be measured in exchanges of energy - positive or negative, what is the energy you choose to bring to the world? Positive exchanges multiply and grow which is why giving feels so good.” - Oprah
The legacy I want to leave and the energy I want to bring is one of LOVE, lifting others up, showing them that they can do it!
This episode is one part me living that legacy out, and one part YOU thinking about yours.
Instructions after listening:
1. Ask your friends, family, and fans one question, “What three attributes make me unique?”
2. Use the hashtag #SBTCheerleadingChallenge, you can tell them this is part of the She Built This community so that it takes some of the heat off, you're not fishing for compliments or something
3. Head into She Built This group and check out the pinned post (I’ll have it pinned to the top until Saturday, June 12th) and share what people said. What blew you away, what gave you the chills, what gave you a revelation about yourself that made you feel seen and heard?
Did it resonate with you as the truth about who you are?
You can do this via email to select people, on your Facebook, your Instagram, etc.
And I invite you to consider the legacy and impact you’re making NOW in the lives of others when making your decisions this week.

Does My Business Really Need Social Media?
Wednesday May 26, 2021
Wednesday May 26, 2021
Can you build a business without social media?
There are a certain number of businesses that don't NEED social media, but chances are, they can all benefit and grow with a good social media strategy in place.
Today, I'm going to be talking about whether or not you need it as a business, and my seven tips to make it suck less cause spoiler alert: you probably need it for your business and it's not going anywhere anytime soon.
I talk about:
- Time-Blocking
- Turning off notifications and deleting apps
- Unfollowing and unliking
- Changing your mindset around it
- Creating a content plan and strategy that lights you up
- Connecting outside of social media
- Not overcommitting
I can’t wait to hear which of these tips resonate and you might want to add in AND if your perspective changed at all if in fact, you're feeling a little over social media-ed.

A Ride with Me and Anxiety
Wednesday May 19, 2021
Wednesday May 19, 2021
I don't often share about my messy mucky stuff until I am on the other side of it... but the topic of anxiety is something that has been on my heart and mind for a long time to talk to you all about and I am unpacking it a little bit in this episode, how it comes up for me, and some of the why behind it as I do the work to unpack it.
I know it affects us all in different ways and today I am sharing my personal experience with it and what I found at the root of some of it. In this episode:
- Last year vs. this year - if you're not where you want to be yet, keep going! You can do it!
- How a simple haircut caused me great anxiety
- How we give our power away to the opinions and thoughts of others and how we can take it back and regain control of our
- How taking time to sit with and process my feelings and dig into them a little deeper has helped me
- How I've learned the slow way through is the best way through
- And More!

She works with individuals and groups both privately and in organizations because what's good for individuals is also good for business.
Christina’s goal with every client is to show them who they were before they learned to defend, protect, and promote themselves and to help them remember that loving, clear, joyful person who showed up for life with strength and wisdom who got lost along the way.
